Girls Night In: Host a True Blood Watching Party!

Need a great idea for a Girls Night In?  Why not host a True Blood Watching Party with your friends? For all our vampire lovers out there, True Blood is coming back to HBO starting June 16th. We're hosting one, and here's what we'll be up to.

First, a little about the show! If you're not familiar with True Blood, it is a complex show "documentary" style show.  It is exciting with intertwining plot lines that surround the Bon Temps bar "Merlotte's" in a fictional town in Louisiana. The show's main protagonist, Sookie Stackhouse played by Anna Paquin, is a telepath and waitress at Merlotte's.  She developes a relationship with a Vampire, Bill Compton  played by Stephen Moyer.  The basic plot of the show revolves around their relationshpi and the commercial sale of vampire blood, known on the show as a human narcotic: "V" or "V Juice". E-1 Through the relationship that develops between Sookie and Bill, the viewer progressively learns more about vampire culture and the limitations of vampire physiology. 

This series is a perfect show for Girls Night In, or even better Girls Weekend In!  Here's everything you'll need for the perfect get together:
1. Order Seasons 1-5  (or just the seasons you haven't seen) on for about $20 - $40 per season. Just click the links below to order. You definitley want to get all caught up before Season 6 starts!

2. Pick a date that works for you and your friends.  Make a cute invite on Facebook and invite your besties.

3. Schedule a weekend in to get caught up on the seasons you haven't seen. This is a perfect excuse for a Girls Weekend In!

4. Get some cocktails, champagne or wine. Try mixing a flavored vodka with True Blood Soda  or Italian Volcano Blood Orange Juice. This juice works for mimosa's too!

5. Make some snacks, and keep it simple!
